Purpose:
To develop creativity, focus, and group connection through play.
Duration:
10–20 minutes
Steps:
- Stand in a circle. The facilitator starts by imagining holding an object (e.g. a Red Ball in their right hand).
- They approach someone (Let’s say John) and say "John, Red Ball yes?"
- John replies “Red Ball yes."
- John now takes the object and repeats the action with someone else. And so on.
- As the game progresses, new imaginary objects are introduced by the facilitator with unique precise gestures or movements.
- End the game with a group reflection about focus, creativity, and fun, or other topic of Improv.
Main Objects:
- Red Ball – Holding with the right hand
- Green Ball – Holding with the left hand
- Hot Pizza – Right hand - flat above the shoulder
- Dead Rat – Left hand - holding on 2 fingers (disgusted)
- Crying baby - Holding with both arms
- White Ball – Both hands
Feel free to invent more! (e.g. crying baby, stinky sock, flying fish...)
