Purpose:
To express inner emotions through art and deepen connection through reflection and active listening.
Duration:
60–90 minutes
Instructions:
Part 1 – Painting
- Each participant paints a metaphorical self-portrait or inner landscape, expressing current emotions.
Part 2 – Sharing
- In pairs or small groups, one person shows their painting.
- Others describe what they see and feel from the artwork.
- The artist then repeats what they heard (without reacting).
- Switch roles.
Part 3 – Group Reflection
- Gather in a circle to share insights and feelings from the process.
