Purpose:

To help participants relax, connect physically in a respectful way, and build trust within the group.

Duration:

10-20 minutes

Steps:

  1. Participants sit in a circle.
  2. One person starts by gently massaging the shoulders or hands of the person next to them.
  3. The massage moves around the circle, each person giving and receiving a gentle massage.
  4. Keep the pressure light and check that everyone is comfortable.
  5. Optionally, the facilitator can guide the group to focus on breathing and relaxation during the massage.
