Purpose:
To encourage meaningful dialogue and get participants to connect and share in a relaxed setting.
Duration:
15-30 minutes (depending on number of questions)
Steps:
- Arrange participants in two circles—one inside the other—so that each person in the inner circle faces a partner in the outer circle.
- The facilitator asks a question.
- Each pair discusses the question for about 2 minutes.
- After the time is up, the outer circle shifts one person to the right, creating new pairs.
- The facilitator asks a new question.
- Repeat as many times as desired.
Tips:
- Use SPARK card games or similar question prompts to inspire conversation.
- Questions can focus on personal experiences, thoughts, or fun topics to suit the group mood.
