"The Art of Life" was a 10-day Youth Exchange, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, focused on the critical issue of mental health and well-being among young people in today’s fast-paced, high-pressure society. By blending Art and Mindfulness, we provided participants with meaningful tools for self-expression and breaking free from harmful patterns, while also promoting mental health and emotional resilience. Through this project, we brought a sense of peace and calm.

This page is dedicated to raising awareness about Mental Health, encouraging reflection, sparking thought, and sharing some of the tools we explored during the project. **Scroll down and discover the “Art of Life”.

Let Them

"Just Let them.

If they want to choose something or someone over you, LET THEM.

If they want to go weeks without talking to you, LET THEM.

If they are okay with never seeing you, LET THEM.

If they are okay with always putting themselves first, LET THEM.

If they are showing you who they are and not what you perceived them to be, LET THEM.

If they want to follow the crowd, LET THEM.

If they want to judge or misunderstand you, LET THEM.

If they act like they can live without you, LET THEM.

If they want to walk out of your life and leave, hold the door open, AND LET THEM.

Let them lose you.

You were never theirs, because you were always your own.

So let them.

Let them show you who they truly are, not tell you.

Let them prove how worthy they are of your time.

Let them make the necessary steps to be a part of your life.

Let them earn your forgiveness.

Let them see the heart in you that didn't harden.

Let them call you to talk about ordinary things.

Let them take you out on a Thursday.

Let them talk about anything and everything just because it's you they are talking to.

Let them have a safe place in you.

Let them love you."

Project Content

Sometimes, if we're lucky, we find a group of people who truly see us — a safe space where we can just be. In those rare moments, when we feel safe, nourished, and loved, something shifts. We begin to glimpse who we are beneath the fears and expectations. And in that space, we often become more than we ever thought possible.

There are moments in life when we feel lost — unsure of our direction, uncertain of ourselves. That’s part of being human. It’s okay to feel. It’s okay to simply be. You don’t need to have all the answers right now. And if you ever find yourself needing a little light in the dark, we’ve gathered some tools, words, images, and melodies that have helped us navigate the storms. They’re not solutions, but companions — reminders that better days do come. You can explore them here in this page where you are. And feel free to…

Take a Moment.

We spent 10 days together — a fleeting yet powerful moment in time where strangers became a community. What did we do, exactly? We shared stories, danced barefoot, laughed until our stomachs hurt, sat in silence, created art, held space for each other, and explored what it means to be fully present. For these 10 days, this group of people — who may never gather in the same way again — came together with one shared intention: to connect with themselves and with others. Curious to see how we spent our days? Explore them here:

Life is a constant unfolding — we are always growing, shifting, becoming. Growth was at the heart of this project. Here, you can witness how we evolved together — not just as individuals, but as a community. We grew in our ability to express ourselves honestly, to connect with our emotions, and to support one another. Through art and mindfulness, we found tools to navigate life’s challenges with more awareness, creativity, and care. You can explore them here:

An essential part of the project was the follow-up — a chance to share what we learned with friends, peers, and the wider community. You can explore the ripple of our magic here:

Follow-up

All of this was made possible thanks to the Erasmus+ programme — a European Union initiative that supports learning, connection, and growth across borders. This project was just one of many life-changing opportunities it offers to young people across Europe. Want to discover more and see how you can be part of it too? Find out more here:
